The College Tour Premiere

Fairmont State University is proud to announce that our episode of The College Tour is now streaming and available to audiences nationwide. Hosted by Amazing Race winner Alex Boylan, The College Tour offers high school students and their families an engaging, inside look at colleges and universities across the country. Each episode provides prospective students with a deeper understanding of campus life beyond traditional brochures or websites.

“We are incredibly proud to showcase Fairmont State University on a national stage through The College Tour,” said President Mike Davis. “This episode brings our campus to life in a way that is both authentic and inspiring, highlighting the experiences, achievements, and voices of our students. It reflects who we are at our core: a university committed to providing opportunity, personalized support, and a transformative educational experience. Viewers will see not only the strength of our academic programs, but also the sense of community and purpose that define being a Falcon and prepare our graduates for lifelong success.”

From academics and athletics to student organizations and surrounding communities, The College Tour viewers gain a comprehensive perspective as they explore potential college destinations. Fairmont State’s episode can be viewed on IMDb TV, Amazon’s premium free streaming service, as well as across The College Tour platform, including its mobile app and official website.

The College Tour is the show you wished you had when applying for colleges in high school,” said Boylan. “College visits can cost upwards of $3,000 per school, which puts them out of reach for many students and families. We are leveling the playing field and providing a free, easy and fun way to tour some of the best schools across the country.”
