Honors Program

If you're looking to push yourself and make the most of your time at Fairmont State, the Honors Program offers special and distinguished opportunities for students with outstanding academic backgrounds. If selected into this highly competitive program, you’ll take smaller, seminar-style classes, allowing you to develop strong friendships with other Honors students as well having more one-on-one time with your professors. You’ll also work closely with one of the Honors faculty as you develop your senior year independent project.

Falcon FastTrack Program

Qualified high school students have the opportunity to participate in dual-credit courses through our Falcon FastTrack program. These courses allow you to earn high school and college credit and are offered in area high schools, on the main Fairmont State campus, and online. Through this program, you can earn up to 30 hours of college credit while still in high school, allowing you to get ahead in earning your degree.

Fairmont State's Regents Bachelor of Arts Degree Program is a flexible, nontraditional academic program designed for those adult students. The program can be tailored to fit your needs, whether you're seeking a degree for career advancement, have an associate degree in a field for which there is no corresponding baccalaureate degree available, or are simply seeking intellectual development and personal fulfillment.

Air Force ROTC

Jumpstart your career in the U.S. Air Force by taking on courses like Foundations of the United States Air Force, The Evolution of USAF Air and Space Power, and Air Force Leadership Studies. Upon completion of the ROTC program, you will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Air Force on active duty.
