Student Accounts Impact

Student Accounts

At Fairmont State University we want to help you manage your student account.  The Student Accounts team works with the Turley Student Services Center to assist with student inquiries.

The Student Accounts team is also responsible for:

    • Third Party Billing - Third party agencies pay on behalf of students whose attendance is sponsored by a corporation, military agency, international embassy, private scholarship and many others.
    • Collections - Attempts to contact the student are made by email, phone and paper bills.  Individuals that fail to respond or pay the outstanding balance will be referred to an outside collection agency.

Tuition and Fees Refund Policy

Effective Fall 2016

After the schedule adjustment period ends (add/drop week), a student must completely withdraw from all registered courses in order to receive any refund of tuition and fees. Fairmont State University will not refund tuition and fees for individual classes dropped after the end of the schedule adjustment period (add/drop week).

Please refer to the Registrar's Calendar for specific dates.

How to Guides

Electronic refunds through this system will be available at a later date.
