Kenneth Fettig Named Vice President for Student Success and Affairs

Fairmont State University is proud to announce Kenneth Fettig has been selected for the Vice President of Student Success and Affairs position. Fettig will begin his tenure as the Chief Enrollment Management and Student Services Officer for the University on April 24.

He brings more than 15 years of experience in higher education leadership to the position, with demonstrated success in enrollment and retention management, academic advising and cross-departmental and locational leadership.

Martin, Fairmont State University President. “Our commitment to student success helps Falcons thrive from the moment they step foot on campus through their entire college journey. I am confident that, under Kenneth’s leadership, we will continue to fully support our students on their pathways to graduation, successful careers, and enriched lives.”

In this role Fettig will use his expertise to provide leadership, vision and administrative supervision of a full range of student services including admissions and enrollment, financial aid, residence life and housing, student employment and counseling services.

I have always held myself to a commitment to community involvement and service work.”

Fettig has held various roles in higher education settings ranging from Adjunct Instructor at the University of Arizona Global Campus to International Program Coordinator at Michigan State University. Most recently, Fettig served as the Senior Director of Student Success Services and Site Director at the University of Arizona Global Campus and Zovio at its Denver and San Diego locations.

Fettig possesses a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arizona Global Campus with an emphasis in Global Management, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the James Madison College at Michigan State University. He received a Graduate Certificate in Psychology from the University of the Rockies and spent time studying Middle Eastern History and Affairs at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
