Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast set for Oct. 26

During an upcoming film screening, it will be OK to throw toast toward the screen. In fact, it’s encouraged.

The Fairmont State University student organization Masquers, will present “The Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast” at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26. in Colebank Gym.

The tickets are $10 and may be purchased by calling the Box Office at (304) 367-4240. The price of admission includes a participation packet with items that may be thrown by audience members during the show.

The production includes a screening of the 1975 cult classic “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” as the backdrop for a group of actors who perform the movie in front, casting shadows onto the screen.

Audience members are encouraged to dress up for the show and to participate during the production.

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast” is intended for mature audiences only and includes sexual and identity slurs, simulated sex, simulated sexual assault, simulated violence and very poor taste. The following items are not permitted: super soakers, weapons, drugs, outside alcohol and tobacco products.

The production is sponsored by Fairmont State and Pierpont Student Government and is produced by special arrangement with Criterion Pictures USA.
