Inspiring Leadership Workshops set for Tuesday, Oct. 24

Joe Battista, the former ice hockey coach and sports executive, will host three leadership workshops at Fairmont State University on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

After more than 26 years at Penn State University, Battista work in the administration of the Buffalo Sabres NHL team before starting the company Pragmatic Passion LLC, a motivational speaking company that focuses on leadership, business development and nonprofit fundraising. Battista is an experienced public speaker, writer, instructor coach, and consultant on topics such as transformational vision, leadership development, team building, goal setting, customer service and inspired fundraising.

The following three workshops will be held at 106 Turley Center at Fairmont State University:

• 9 – 11 a.m. The Power of Pragmatic Passion
• 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Power Lunch

Synergistic Balance of Passion and Excellence

• 2 – 4 p.m. The Margin of Excellence
