We hope our guests will enjoy the day and get to know us. Fairmont State offers a wide variety of high quality and affordable academic programs. For many of our students, finding such a value close to home is an added attraction.”

The event begins with check-in at the first floor lobby of the Falcon Center from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. FSU President Maria Rose, Student Government Association President Mitch Moore and others will welcome students and their guests from 9 to 9:30 a.m.

“I had no idea what to expect at college. What I found at Fairmont State are limitless possibilities. I’m the Student Government president. I worked in the Admissions Office. I’m double majoring, and I have a great internship this year. I can really say my life changed here. Fairmont State is helping me to exceed my personal goals, and I can’t wait to see what’s next,” Moore said.

From 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., visitors can choose interactive sessions and take tours of campus and residence halls. Sessions will provide information about admissions, financial aid, veterans affairs and housing. Special sessions will be offered on topics such as student life and the Honors program. Those who attend will have the opportunity to meet faculty members and learn about academic programs at the Academic Fair. A complimentary lunch will be offered by Dining Services in the third floor of the Falcon Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
