The first men's residence hall built on Fairmont State's campus, Pence Hall joined our community in 1957. Updated to modern standards and opened to all residents, Pence Hall is now one of our three traditional-style living options. As the residence hall located closest to the Feaster Center, Falcon Center, Duvall-Rosier Field, and other athletic facilities, many of Fairmont State's athlete population find it an attractive option, but it also offers quick access to Hunt-Haught Hall, the Education Building, and other academic buildings.
For students who want the most social atmosphere on campus, nothing beats Pence Hall's massive common area. Whether it's to watch the big game, relax with some games of pool, or study with your classmates, Pence Hall's lobby has plenty of space and amenities to meet your needs.
Although students are welcome to park in many lots around campus, nothing beats the convenience of this central lot available to our Pence Hall residents. You'll be especially thankful on game nights when you are only a minute's walk away!
If you want to maximize space, make a comfortable study nook, or just try something different, feel free to customize the layout of your room however you like!
