Alex is a licensed mental health counselor who recently moved from Ohio. She received both her bachelor’s and master’s at Wright State University. She’s currently working on her PhD in Performance Psychology. In addition to working with the general population of college-aged students, she has a particular interest in the unique challenges faced by student-athletes. She offers a compassionate and understanding approach to helping individuals navigate the pressures of academic life, athletic performance, and personal well-being.
Alex has experience in various counseling environments, utilizing evidence-based therapy techniques to address a wide range of mental health concerns such as anxiety, stress management, depression and mood disorders, relationship issues, eating disorders, substance abuse, and sport performance related concerns in athletes.
Alex strives to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By fostering open communication and building trust, they work collaboratively to develop coping strategies, enhance resilience, and achieve their goals.
