your schedule, from a private space that works for you.

Yes—sessions are available days, evenings, weekends, and over breaks.
Teletherapy can be short- or longer-term depending on your needs and availability.
Your counselor can help plan next steps and referrals if ongoing care is recommended.
Your first session is designed to help your counselor learn more about you, your concerns,
and your overall well-being so they can best support you. This is your safe space
— you’ll meet with a trained, licensed, and trustworthy professional.
During the session, your counselor will ask questions to understand:
Why you’re seeking help and what brought you in
How you’ve been feeling and what challenges you’re facing
What you’d like to work on or change in your life
Important to Know:
There’s no test or preparation required, but it can help to jot down a few notes on
what you’d like to discuss.
If your counselor isn’t the right fit, you can easily switch to another provider on
the BetterMynd platform.
You’ll need a private, quiet space, a charged device with internet access, and your
camera on so your counselor can better read your expressions and reactions.
This is a confidential, supportive environment — be open about your feelings.
