Student Talent Show Planned for Feb. 26

The International Student Organization invites all interested (and talented) Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community & Technical College students to participate in a Talent Show Competition. The event will take place from 12:30-1:30 Tuesday, Feb. 26, in the Main Street area on the second floor of the Falcon Center on the shared main campus.

Whether a student’s talent is knitting, singing, juggling or dancing, each student will have five minutes to take the stage and wow the audience. The audience will participate by voting on their favorite performer with pennies dropped into a container designated by the performer’s name.

Prizes will be given for first and second place. All proceeds will be donated to The Nest Student Food Bank. If interested in performing, students should contact Megha Basnet, the president of ISO, at mbasnet@students.fairmontstate.edu. Cookbooks with collected recipes from international students also will be on sale for $5.
