On the Road Logo

This July, Fairmont State University is taking its mission on the road.

Led by President Mike Davis, On the Road with Fairmont State brings University leaders, students, faculty, staff, and alumni directly into communities across West Virginia to listen, connect, and build lasting partnerships.

The visit begins with a big kickoff at Twin Falls Resort on July 13, followed by countywide events, community tours, and meaningful conversations with the people and places that make Southern West Virginia special.

Fairmont State Wants to Meet You

Fairmont State is committed to being more than a university located in West Virginia. We are a university for West Virginia.

This visit is an opportunity to meet with local leaders, legislators, municipalities, schools, businesses, community organizations, alumni, families, and residents to better understand the needs, priorities, and opportunities in Southern West Virginia.

Through these conversations, Fairmont State hopes to strengthen relationships, identify meaningful partnerships, and show how the University can serve as a resource for communities across the state.
