December 2025 Video Message

As 2025 draws to a close, we’re reflecting on an extraordinary year.

In this month’s Presidential Video Update, Dr. Davis highlights a few of the milestones we’ve achieved together and the challenges we’ve overcome thanks to the dedication of everyone who makes Fairmont State University A Great Place. He also shares how we’ll continue this momentum as we head into 2026.

This year, we welcomed more students through increased enrollment, broke records on Day of Giving, launched innovative academic programs to meet West Virginia’s workforce needs, and introduced the Access Scholarship to make education more affordable. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Looking ahead, the new year promises even more excitement. On January 23, we’ll showcase Fairmont State’s impact during Day at the Capitol, and on February 26, get ready for our biggest Day of Giving yet! You won’t want to miss what’s coming next.
