Fairmont State University will unite alumni, donors, friends, faculty, staff, and students for its annual Day of Giving campaign on Thursday, February 26, 2026, for a 24-hour celebration of Falcon pride and collective philanthropy. This year’s ambitious fundraising goal is $800,000, which will provide critical support for students and programs across campus.
Fairmont State University is further strengthening its leadership team enhance operational effectiveness, support long‑term sustainability, and advance the University’s mission.
Fairmont State University will travel to Charleston on Friday, January 23, for its annual Day at the Capitol, highlighting the University’s transformational impact on West Virginia’s economy, workforce, and communities. During the event, students, faculty, and staff will engage with lawmakers, present top-notch programs, and demonstrate how Fairmont State’s Vision goes beyond campus to help make all of West Virginia a Great Place to Learn, to Work, and to Call Home.
Over 1,100 Fairmont State University baccalaureate students have been honored for their academic achievements throughout the Fall 2025 semester.
