Campus Visitation Day Set for Nov. 10
A Campus Visitation Day is planned for Saturday, Nov. 10, for high school students
and their families and adults who are deciding where to continue their education.
'We strongly encourage those of all ages who are considering Fairmont State to attend
our program. Campus Visitation Day is a good opportunity to get to know us," said
Steve Leadman, Director of Admissions and Recruiting.
"Fairmont State University, including Pierpont Community & Technical College, provides
more than 145 graduate degrees, bachelor's degrees/concentrations, associate degrees,
certificates and skill-set certificates. We want to help you find your future."
The event on Fairmont State's main campus will begin at 8:30 a.m. with registration
and in the Falcon Center. FSU President Dan Bradley and Pierpont C&TC President Blair
Montgomery will give a welcome. Those attending will have the opportunity to visit
with faculty members and will receive information on residence life and financial
aid. Tours of campus will be offered throughout the afternoon. Participants may also
tour the Robert C. Byrd National Aerospace Education Center in Bridgeport from 1 p.m.
to 4 p.m.
