Bacza Honored by Epsilon Pi Tau
Dr. Gerald "Jerry" Bacza, chair, coordinator and drafting and design professor in
the Fairmont State Community & Technical College School of Business, Aviation and
Technology, was recently honored as one of the Heroes of Epsilon Pi Tau, the International
Honor Society for Professions in Technology.
Bacza received the honor upon the retirement of Epsilon Pi Tau Executive Director
Dr. Jerry Streichler. Bacza, who served on the society's board of directors during
Streichler's tenure, was recognized along with 19 other board members whom Streichler
said, "bravely and confidently maintained an environment that encouraged organizational
responses to changes taking place in the professions in technology."
"This enabled Epsilon Pi Tau to stay well ahead of the curve to expand its vision
and scope of service," Streichler said.
