The Student Professional Corps (SPC) is a campus-wide initiative that helps students build career-ready skills through free professional development training and meaningful student employment opportunities. Faculty and partner support is essential to the success of this program. Your participation helps create valuable learning experiences for Fairmont State students to be confident and prepared for their future careers.

How is SPC Beneficial?

The SPC partners with Student Employment on campus- these positions offer intentional skill development through meaningful roles and responsibilities. 

The SPC offers a professional development curriculum that provides training modules in numerous workplace readiness skills areas. Upon completion students earn digital badges that showcase the skills they've developed.
