Fairmont State aspires to offer a robust employee and employee dependent tuition waiver program that will support employee growth and development in their current or future roles at Fairmont State, provide a recruitment tool, and benefit employees by providing support for their dependents. The purpose of the tuition and fee waiver is to financially assist employees and employee dependents in the attainment of their first associate, bachelor, or master’s degree. Benefits for secondary degrees may be considered based on the availability of funding. Employees must be a benefit-eligible full-time employee. Less than 1.0 FTE benefits-eligible employees may be eligible for a reduced benefit.

Fairmont State provides all faculty, staff, and students with Digital ALL ACCESS to the New York Times.
Single Sign-On (SSO) for members of Fairmont State University is established by IT. SSO permits you to use a single ID/password to access multiple related, yet independent, software systems.
In this case, SSO will allow you to maintain any Games streaks, saved articles and recipes, and preferences and newsletters if you have an existing NY Times account.
It will also permit you to maintain your account when you graduate or if you leave the university.
Note that the steps to take advantage of this benefit vary depending on whether you are:
A New NY Times user or A Registered NY Times subscriber
Please follow the steps to register that fit your scenario.
To redeem your free meals, please take your free meal voucher, given at opening session, with you to the cafeteria. After selecting your meal and moving to the checkout, please present your voucher and campus ID. Your voucher will then be stamped or hole punched to confirm use of one credit. Each employee will receive only one voucher.
