Dr. Abbey Zink serves as Interim Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation (CTLI). A West Virginia native with nearly 15 years of senior academic leadership experience, she has focused throughout her career on supporting faculty success, advancing excellence in teaching and learning, and strengthening academic quality. Her leadership experience includes academic planning, accreditation, faculty evaluation and tenure, shared governance, research and graduate education, and learning support services. She is committed to fostering innovation, collaboration, and faculty development to enhance student success and institutional excellence. Her faculty success work is informed by her experience as a tenured faculty member at regional comprehensive universities like Fairmont State.

Victoria Maher is one of the Instructional Designers in the CTLI. Victoria has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Level (4-8 grade) Education with a concentration in Mathematics, and a Master of Science Degree in Instructional Design and Technology, both from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. Alongside her role as an Instructional Designer at Fairmont State, she also is an adjunct instructor. Victoria can assist faculty and staff with course design, Blackboard course building, various product training, professional development badge reporting and much more.

Malinda Blevins is an Instructional Designer with the CTLI Team. She received her Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education (K-6) as well as her Master of Education in Instructional Design and Technology from Fairmont State University. Prior to her role, she taught in both brick-and-mortar and online learning environments, as well as delivered professional development sessions regarding best practices in the virtual environment. She is happy to assist faculty and staff with Blackboard course design, building, and alignment.
