Dr. Abbey Zink serves as Interim Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation (CTLI).
A West Virginia native with nearly 15 years of senior academic leadership experience,
she has focused throughout her career on supporting faculty success, advancing excellence
in teaching and learning, and strengthening academic quality. Her leadership experience
includes academic planning, accreditation, faculty evaluation and tenure, shared governance,
research and graduate education, and learning support services. She is committed to
fostering innovation, collaboration, and faculty development to enhance student success
and institutional excellence. Her faculty success work is informed by her experience
as a tenured faculty member at regional comprehensive universities like Fairmont State.
