Fairmont State invites the community to attend Trunk or Treat event
On Tuesday, October 24 Fairmont State University will host a Trunk or Treat event on the top deck of the parking garage from 6 - 8 p.m. The event is free for all to attend.
This will be the second year in a row Fairmont State has hosted the event.
“Last year the community turnout for Trunk or Treat was amazing,” said Assistant Director of Student Life Justin Rader. “We were really happy to see so many people involved with this event, and hope to see a similar turnout this year.”
Fairmont State is also encouraging students, staff and faculty to get involved with the event. Campus departments and student organizations are encouraged to set up their own tables to hand out candy, and employees and students are invited to bring the younger members of their families to enjoy some sweet treats.
“Events like this are really important to us because we want Fairmont State students and employees to be involved in their community,” said Rader. “We want the campus and community to feel connected and vibrant.”
