The mission of the Falcon Center is to provide activities and services for the Fairmont State community. Through various recreational and social programs the center and its staff will provide an atmosphere to support the out-of-class experience as part of the total educational process while advancing the institutional missions and supporting college persistence. These programs will promote a sense of community and loyalty to Fairmont State while serving as a meeting place for intellectual, physical and development growth of students, faculty and staff as individuals or as part of a group.
The Falcon Center, centrally located on campus, provides an environment where students and employees can comfortably interact with one another while enjoying a variety of fitness and wellness programs, eating areas and study lounges. The campus bookstore, dining services, Chick-Fil-A, Starbucks, Chilaca, and much more is available for both students and employees. Need to use some equipment? Included in the 126,000 square foot facility is:
7,000 square feet of fitness equipment including tread mills, bikes, stair-steppers, elliptical trainers, selectorized/plate-loaded weight equipment, free weights are available.
5 versatile courts marked for basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis and indoor soccer.
2 multi-purpose rooms providing a variety of classes (Zumba, Yoga, Tabata, Spinning and many more). Enjoy the soft, padded flooring and the companionship of others enjoying fitness.
This program provides organized sport and recreational activities for all students at Fairmont State University. The program also offers opportunity to participate in individual, dual and team competition in season, weekend and tournament play at all skill levels. Such sports may include Dodgeball, Basketball, Flag Football, and many more.
Aquatics include a four-lane, 25 yard lap/fitness pool, whirlpool, sauna, and outdoor sunning deck.
Five laps around make a mile on the four-lane cushioned jogging/walking track, with available stretch areas. The track wraps around the top of 2 gyms so you are always viewing the activity while exercising.
Spacious locker rooms with individualized shower stalls and full lockers that may be rented.
Dining hall seats 500 with a spacious outdoor terrace. A variety of food and "all you can eat" is offered through multiple stations. Dining services also include: Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and Chilaca. Learn more about Dining Services.
The mission of the Nest is to provide students in need with food and other resources. The Nest is open to ALL students, but we do ask that you bring a valid student ID with you when you come.

You can donate online via Amazon or drop off any donations at the front desk.
We have two bookstore locations in the Falcon Center. On the second floor you can satisfy all your needs for school supplies and spirit gear. The third floor location is your one stop shop for any textbook that you may need. You can also shop online.
The computer lab, conveniently located on the third floor of the Falcon Center is available for long hours for students studying needs.
Falcon Wellness and Mental Health Services is also conveniently located on the third floor of the Falcon Center for student health needs.
The Conference Center is comprised of 2,300 total sq ft. The conference center can be divided into three separate conference rooms (square footage per room below in diagram) with sound-proof walls. It can also be opened up as one large room. The conference center is equipped with state-of-the-art audio and visual equipment that is easy to use.
Fairmont State University Printing Services provides printing & copying services to the campus community as well as clients off-campus. We offer a broad range of printed products including business cards, memo pads, letterhead, brochures, books, annual reports, newsletters, photographs, flyers, posters, and catalogs.
The mission of Campus Card Services is to provide support to all students, staff, and faculty in all areas of operation relating to their ID Card. We are committed to providing a safe and secure identification system that meets the needs of all involved. Our goal is to expand our services in an efficient and convenient way with a user-friendly and customer-oriented approach.
