The Surveying and Geomatics Engineering Technology curriculum is based on interdisciplinary content encompassing technology, natural sciences, social sciences, arts, humanities, and general studies.
The degree has a focus on professional surveying practices, interpreting land records, boundary retracement, geodesy, photogrammetry, environmental engineering, hydraulics and hydrology.
The Surveying and Geomatics Engineering Technology program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Surveying/Geomatics Engineering Technology and Similarly Named Programs
