Fairmont State University’s Board of Governors met on October 19 to hear updates from University leadership and to discuss an assortment of topics pertaining to the University.
During the August 17 Fairmont State University Board of Governors Meeting President Mike Davis highlighted what he has learned over the past month and a half as Fairmont State’s President and his vision for the University moving forward.
During the June 29 virtual Board of Governor’s meeting, the Board announced the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission’s (HEPC) approval of Dr. Michael Davis’s presidential contract. The approval of the contract by the HEPC is the final step in Fairmont State’s year-long search for a new president.
During the June 15 Fairmont State University Board of Governors meeting, the board voted to approve Dr. Michael Davis’s presidential contract. Following the Board’s approval of the contract, it will be sent to the Higher Education Policy Commission (HEPC) for final approval. Davis is set to begin his term as President on July 1.
