Group Fitness

Group Fitness Policies and Procedures Fall 2020

  • All group fitness participants must preregister for classes in advance. Drop-ins will not be permitted.
  • Group fitness classes will be capped at a total of four participants.
  • Social distancing must be adhered to at all times.
  • Masks are required at all times except during cardiovascular exercise.
  • Participants are expected to prepare to stay for the entirety of the class and bring the necessary items to do so. (i.e. water bottle, towel, use the restroom beforehand. Etc. )
  • Once a participant leaves the room, they will not be permitted to reenter.
  • Properly sanitize your space and equipment before exiting.

How to Register

  1. Select the class or classes of your choice.
  2. Verify the class time and make sure there are remaining spots left in the class.
  3. Click Register
  4. Sign in using your University UCA
  5. Sign the Waiver.
  6. If redirected to the main page, click on Group Fitness and select your class again.
  7. Click Checkout
Fitness On Demand enables any users the ability to pick  group fitness classes at the touch of a button! There are hundreds of exercise videos available, from kickboxing and dance to yoga and cycling — and new classes are updated monthly. Come to Fitness Room A whenever there are no classes scheduled and pick your own class.

Group Fitness Class Etiquette

  • All group exercise class participants must be 16 years of age or older
  • Participants are highly encouraged to arrive to class on time. Late attendee participation is at the discretion of the instructor.
  • It is highly recommended that participants stay for the entire group exercise class to ensure participation in the proper cool-down phase of the class.
  • All cycling class participants must bring a towel and a water bottle.
  • Per instructor instruction, other equipment could be used during fitness classes and will be provided.
