Amie has worked at Fairmont State for 29 years. Prior to working in her current position as Director Legacy Engagement/Academic Success Coordinator, she served as Director of Recruitment, Director of GEAR UP (a federal grant) and as an Admissions Counselor.

She is a proud graduate of Fairmont State and serves on the Fairmont State Alumni Association Board of Directors. She also serves on the boards of HOPE, Inc. and Leadership Marion. She is married to a Fairmont State Alum, Gary Fazalare, and has two sons, Brandon and Cory.

Megan began working in Fairmont State University’s Academic Advising Center in fall of 2008. She serves as an Academic Success Coordinator for students in Academic Pathways. In this role, she utilizes various advising techniques to assist students in formulating educational, career, and life goals. She also teaches First Year Seminar and is a founding member of Fairmont State University’s Advising Network.

Outside of her work at Fairmont State University, Megan delights in spending time with her husband, three children, and their church family. She is passionate about working with Undecided Students and helping them find their paths at Fairmont State University. She loves studying theories of personality and is usually chatting about the latest inventory she has discovered. Chances are, if you talk with her, she will try to convince you to take a personality inventory. Once you do, she will not be able to wait to discuss your results with you.

Lori joined the Advising Center in of 2014. She started working for the Office of Institutional Advancement at Fairmont State University in 2004. She recently completed training to become a Life Coach and a Recovery Coach. Lori is usually the first person to greet everyone who comes into the Advising Center. She is a wealth of information about resources on-campus and in the community. If you need some encouragement and/or reassurance, she is the person on-campus to see.

In Lori’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and seven beautiful grandchildren. She is a natural caregiver and has a gift for creating a welcoming environment.
