Title III: Student Empowerment Liaisons Impact

Title III: Student Empowerment Liaisons

Peer support, resource navigation, and student-centered connection at Fairmont State University.

The Student Empowerment Liaisons (SELs) are part of Fairmont State’s Title III initiative to strengthen student success through peer‑to‑peer support. Our mission is simple:

  • Empower students through approachable guidance
  • Connect students to campus resources
  • Support academic, social, and personal transitions
  • Build a welcoming, informed, and confident campus community

Whether students are navigating their first semester or preparing for graduation, SELs serve as a bridge between students and staff — helping every Falcon feel supported, connected, and ready to thrive.
