Create pathways to connect student employment and co-curricular engagement to long-term career goals.

  • Develop a Student Professional Corps (comprehensive learning-in-place program; via on-campus employment).
  • Train supervisors of student employees on mentoring and conducting evaluations.
  • Develop a career mentoring program for students working off-campus.
  • Enhance co-curricular, service learning, and civic engagement opportunities.
  • Formalize the acquisition of skills and experience through badges and micro-credentialling.

  • Assess and restructure student worker positions to include intentional skill development and reflective application to future career paths
  • Develop evaluation process for student workers
  • Train supervisors on mentorship and the student evaluation process
Fall 2025
  • Complete the assessment and restructuring of student worker positions
  • Launch the Student Professional Corps
  • Formalize the acquisition of skills and experience through badges and micro-credentialing (5 offered)
Fall 2026
  • Launch career mentoring progam for students working off campus
Fall 2027
  • Provide professional development related to service learning and civic engagement
Fall 2028 
  • Implement 4 new co-curricular service learning and civic engagement opportunities

In this role, Nicole will develop and implement programs, initiatives, and activities that address career readiness, students’ personal and professional development through training, service learning, civic engagement and other co-curricular opportunities. She previously worked for McKinsey & Company, a management consulting firm, for 10+ years where she managed the recruiting and hiring process of college students. In her role at McKinsey, Nicole developed a strong foundation in both practical and strategic aspects of HR and project management. She is eager to leverage her experiences to contribute to the success of the Title III Grant.

Nicole holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Emmanuel College (Boston).
