Any item that is intended for an outside audience or uses university logos should be reviewed by University Relations and Marketing. A guide with tips and tricks to make approvals smoother has been created to help you in this process. Please submit all self-created items that will represent the University to approvals@fairmontstate.edu. You will receive a response within 72 hrs.
The university's identity marks are available for downloading by individuals affiliated with the university (staff/faculty/administrators/licensed vendors). The marks are available for both printed and electronic documents. You can download the following files directly from this page.
Follow these guidelines to create vibrant marketing collateral that upholds and strengthens Fairmont State brand and identity. It is vital that all Fairmont State University-focused advertising and marketing demonstrates – through quality content and execution – the university’s achievements and excellence.
Fairmont State University has teamed with the Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) to license and oversee the use of its logos and trademarks in an effort to protect the integrity and usage of the marks. Manufacturers and retailers are expected to work directly with CLC when using Fairmont State University Logos.
The Office of University Relations and Marketing exists to promote, document, and market your department and events. From high-quality design for print and electronic publications to videography showcasing new programs and campus culture, we aim to reflect your project goals and the image and mission of Fairmont State University.
Fairmont State University Relations & Marketing has created a series of files and templates to aid you. The templates were designed using selected fonts, Palatino linotype, and Arial, and selected font sizes, text placement, and color. We request that you maintain the design of the template document as an institutional standard.
