The Fairmont State University Board of Governors held a meeting on Thursday, April 23, 2026, and approved issuance of this Notice of Proposed Rulemaking related to the proposed adoption of a new BOG Policy, “Emeriti Faculty and Staff.” This proposed policy establishes and defines the policy and process for awarding emeritus status to retired faculty and staff.
