Upon graduation the LPN received the Associate of Science in Nursing Degree and is eligible to sit tor the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
The non-traditional program is best for LPNs who have completed their support courses for nursing. The nursing courses are taught asynchronously online. Clinical experiences are conducted two days each month. Students should possess basic computer skills, have computer access, and a high-speed Internet connection. Class size is limited to 32 admissions per cohort.
Applicants must meet the requirements for admission to the program.
Effective Fall 2020
The student must have these courses completed in order to enter the nursing program.
The student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
*LPN to ASN students can take a challenge exam for these courses. The exams are best taken the semester before entering the program (i.e. For Fall Admission take in the Spring Semester)
