Fall 2023 Classes Begin the Week of September 11!

Lavish Landscapes

  • Grades 6-12
  • September 13 - November 15
  • 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
  • $250 + $15 Material Fee Paid to Instructor
  • Instructor- Michelle Fegeley
  • We will explore the different parts that make up a great landscape. Whether you paint farmland or forests, beaches, or cityscapes, lava or jungles-scapes, you will learn the following; composition, drawing skills, proportion, color theory, and painting techniques. Acrylic paint used throughout. Imagination and photo references are in the mix.

Fall Frenzy and Nature Galore

  • Grades 1-5
  • September 13 - November 15
  • 5 - 6 p.m.
  • $250 + $15 Material Fee Paid to Instructor
  • Instructor- Michelle Fegeley
  • Exploring, Nature, Fall and other Seasons through artwork. Students will learn to paint animals, crazy blue pumpkins, barns, trees and many more exciting things. We will learn drawing and painting skills while discovering techniques galore. Students will use tempera paint, and a variety of other painting and drawing mediums to create their artwork. Fun is on the menu!!

Ready, Set, Slate: Unleashing Your Audition Brilliance

  • Ages 7-12 grade
  • 4 Thursdays 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5
  • 6 - 7:30 p.m.
  • $125

  • In this class, we will focus on audition prep and adding audition materials to our repertoire. In class, we will talk about what serves us in auditions, how to craft a full story within a short song or monologue, and how to start crafting a repertoire of go-to audition materials. Students will be provided with resources to find monologues and songs, learn how to make appropriate cuts, and map each piece. The last day of class, students will practice with a mock audition in front of their peers.

Sing and Tell: The Magic of Storytelling Through Song

  • Ages 3-6 Grade
  • Thursday, October 19
  • 6 - 7:00 pm

  • In this class, we will learn about how to tell a story through a song! Incorporating good vocal technique, everyone will learn a portion of the same song, and we will talk about how to use the lyrics to figure out what our character wants and how to show that to the audience through the lyrics and our actions. At the end, students will be able to perform for their classmates either as a soloist or in a small group.

"PK and Parent" Acting and Dance

  • Ages 3-5 plus one parent or caregiver
  • Mondays, 9/11-11/6
  • 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
  • $200 per duo

  • A chance for child and caregiver to explore the performing world together! What more dynamic duo than you and your favorite preschooler “taking the stage“ together! A perfect way to introduce your young one to theatre and have a little fun together!

  • “We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams…” “Theatre magic” has another name- CREATIVITY! In this 9 week class, students will explore all aspects of creative production from playwriting, choreography, the actor’s process, sound, costume, set and lighting design! This is a great chance for your budding artist to find their niche in the creative world of theatre production!

Showstopper: A Musical Theatre Dance Intensive

  • Grades 4-12
  • Six-Week Intensive, Tuesdays 9/19-10/24
  • 4:30 - 5:45 pm

  • Dance is one of the most expressive story-telling tools of the stage, and absolutely essential to a moving musical theatre experience! Performers who want to up their dance game will learn to better use their bodies to portray characters and emotions with energy and precision that captures an audience. The 6-week course will end with an ensemble performance of a high energy musical theatre dance number! A great way to prepare for the high intensity dance shows this spring.

Let's Act Jr

  • Through acting exercises, theatre games and improv the class will explore the different aspects of acting and being in a show. A short play will be presented at the end of the term.

Intro to Improv: 3rd-6th Grades

  • Grades 3-6
  • Thursdays, 9/14-11/9
  • 5 - 5:55 p.m.

  • Open to new and students who have had a class or camp previously. Through a variety of exercises and games students will learn the basic short form improv. A small show will be presented at the end of the term.

Intro to Improv: 7th-12th Grades

  • Fridays, 9/15-11/11

  • Open to new and students who have had a class or camp previously. Through a variety of exercises and games students will learn the basic short form improv. A small show will be presented at the end of the term.

Team Improv

  • $190
  • Wednesdays, 9/13-11/8
  • 5 - 5:55 p.m.
  • Instructor- Christian Cox
  • Weekly rehearsal and class time for the established ‘Kid Prov’ team. This is open to students who have completed at least two class terms of class and is subject to instructor approval. A featured show open to the public will be presented at the end of the term.
