Many of us experience periods of dissatisfaction, discomfort, or even unhappiness. College life with its often quickly changing and high demands, can trigger a variety of reactions. From getting used to living in a different environment, to adapting to new food, routines, and the new level of initiative that is required to be successful in college, changes can leave us disoriented and at a loss.
Times of turmoil, loss, and pain are a normal part of life, but it can be difficult to recognize the point at which we may need to seek additional help to effectively cope with life’s trials and tribulations.
