Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) is the recognition of college-level learning gained outside of the higher education academic environment. For example, individuals may acquire college-level knowledge or skills through work, employee training programs, military service, independent study, non-credit courses, or community service. Only documented and demonstrated college-level learning will be recognized for college credit.
