Staff Council Scholarships Impact

Staff Council Scholarships

Since 2003, the Staff Council has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to benefit the staff of Fairmont State University and their families. These scholarships are intended to assist the staff with continuing their education to improve themselves both professionally and personally.  To further assist the staff, these scholarships are also available to certain members of their families (see the Criteria for Eligibility section below for more detail).

The Staff Council Staff Scholarships consist of a full-time enrollment scholarship and a part-time enrollment scholarship. For the academic year 2024-2025, the full-time scholarship will be a $3,000 award with installments of $1,500 per semester and the part-time scholarship will be a $1,500 award with installments of $750 per semester.
