I have taught math courses for Fairmont State in the capacity of Adjunct faculty member since 1987 and currently as full time since 2006.  I am a graduate of Fairmont State with an A.B. in Education with teaching fields of Mathematics and Journalism.  I received an M.S. in Mathematics from West Virginia University.  I taught mathematics at Fairmont Senior High School for ten years, before resigning to raise my children.  In 2012, I was honored as Outstanding College Teacher of the Year by the West Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

I am the secretary for the West Virginia State Math Field Day Organization.  In the past, I have been the College Vice President for the West Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics.  I have also taught at SM2 Math Camp – a summer math enrichment camp for students in grades 5-9.
