Upon completion of the BSN program, graduates should be able to:

  1. Synthesize experiential, empirical, and theoretical knowledge from nursing and general education as a framework for nurse generalist practice.
  2. Function within the roles of care provider; designer, manager, and coordinator of care; and member of the profession.
  3. Use the critical thinking process to solve problems and make decisions in the professional nursing roles.
  4. Provide safe, effective, efficient, and evidence-based care that is patient-centered and family and population-oriented.
