Overview

Fairmont State University offers at B.S in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Finance students are exposed to concepts and applications in financial analysis and financial decision making.

Courses include:

  • personal,  managerial, and pc applications for managerial Finance
  • principles of accounting
  • investments
  • business law
  • international business

Finance students at Fairmont State should also expect to take ethics, mathematics and economics.

Students who have chosen a separate major can also choose to minor in Finance.

Career Opportunities

Students completing the B.S. in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance will be able to compete with graduates of most colleges and universities for entrance into graduate school.  They are immediately qualified for positions like:
