An afternoon to answer some frequently asked questions about beginning your own business with great take-away materials.
The West Virginia Small Business Development Center (WVSBDC) will offer the workshop - “You Are Your Business”

The workshop addresses: getting started; choosing a location; choosing a structure; selecting insurance; knowing your market; advertising your business; keeping your books; the business plan; state, local, and federal taxes; as well as financing your business. The finance section will be facilitated by a highly experienced lender who is our SBA microloan lender and available to answer general questions.
The West Virginia Small Business Development Center, supported by the West Virginia Development Office, works with colleges, universities and other host institutions to provide free business consulting and technical assistance statewide. The SBDC is a program supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis. The SBA cannot endorse any products, opinions or services of any external parties or activities. Workshops, seminars and conferences are held in disabled accessible locations.
