Typical grants are made to small employers (50 or fewer employees) to improve workplace safety, teach machine operation, teach new software applications, or teach new customer relations skills. You choose the trainer, we help pay the bill. To receive an explanation of the program and an application form, call (888) 982-7232.
This program assists the small business community by providing grants (up to $5,000) to defray the cost of preparing federal research applications. To receive an explanation of the program and receive an application form, call (888) 982-7232 or visit www.sbdcwv.org.
Many very small and home-based businesses need loans so small that banks can’t afford to process the loan request. To meet these needs (up to $15,000), the SBDC has established micro loan programs throughout West Virginia. To find the micro loan fund program nearest you, call (888) 982-7232.
