The Pierpont Community & Technical College of Fairmont State University's Regional Small Business Development Center is a member of the West Virginia Small Business Development Center Program coordinated through the West Virginia Development Office. The Regional SBDC consists of several local offices, strategically placed at the following locations:

  • The Pierpont Community & Technical College's Center for Workforce Education at Veterans' Square in downtown Fairmont
  • At satellite ofice locations throughout our thirteen-county service region
The Regional SBDC promotes economic development in the Northcentral West Virginia region through a program of free business assistance. This assistance includes a variety of services such as business consulting, problem solving, business start-up assistance, loan packaging and small business training.

Who We Are
The West Virginia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a division of the West Virginia Development Office and is funded by the state of West Virginia and the United States Small Business Administration (SBA).

What We Do
The SBDC promotes economic development through a program of practical, interrelated services, providing assistance to existing small businesses and the emerging entrepreneur. The WVSBDC provides many free services that assist you, the entrepreneur, in your business venture. If you need financial help and/or consulting, then you have come to the right place.
