"Making Age an Asset in Your Job Search," a new class based on research and programs developed by AARP, is a guide for people over 50 who want to make a career change, find employment opportunities or learn the strategies that will give them the best chance of getting hired.

The class is part of Pierpont's growing catalog of more than 300 online courses. Through well-crafted lessons, expert online instruction and interaction with fellow students, participants gain valuable knowledge at their convenience. They have the flexibility to study at their own pace combined with enough structure and support to complete the course. Students can access the classroom at any time of day from anywhere with an Internet connection.
New sessions of each course run every month. They last six weeks, with two new lessons being released weekly (for a total of 12). The courses are entirely web-based with comprehensive lessons, quizzes and assignments.
