Changes in Migration Procedures

Beginning with the Fall 2008 semester the procedures to move course content from semester to semester will change. Content already existing in Blackboard Vista 4 can be moved from semester to semester without a course migration request.

Upon initial login to the course from within Blackboard Vista 4 faculty will have the option to copy content from any course they have instructor/designer privileges or apply the FSU master template to their course. Course content not already in Blackboard Vista 4 must be migrated from WebCT 3 to Vista 4 (see the Vista Survival Guide).

Summer 2008 Sessions

Copying content from any course (WebCT 3 or Vista 4) to a Summer 2008 courses requires a Course Migration Request. Both WebCT and Vista courses need "cleaned-up" before the migration request is submitted (see the Vista Survival Guide).
