SciTech Staff - Karen Grubb

I began working at Fairmont State in the Fall of 1996, and was hired by the Biology program in Fall 1998. I received a B.S. in Zoology from the University of Georgia and a M.S. in Zoology from the University of Florida. My area of study included Vertebrate Paleontology, Ecology, and Systematics. I attended Southern Illinois University for additional graduate study in Wildlife Disease. Previous jobs include medical research at the University of Southern California, support staff in Equine Research at the University of Kentucky, and disease testing in the Georgia Department of Agriculture. I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and canoeing, and share my home with cats, a dog, parakeets, frogs, and teenagers.
