I then attended the University of Kentucky receiving my M.S. in Pharmaceutical Science. I taught physical science at Lafayette High School in Lexington, Ky., and now I am the general chemistry lab coordinator and in charge of coordinating instrument maintenance for the chemistry department at Fairmont State University.

What have you learned while teaching at Fairmont State?:

That it is possible to love coming to work each day and truly enjoy your job.

What do your students like best about your class?:

I teach only labs and the students like being able to see the principles that they are learning about in class applied to experiments in the lab.
