Biography:
Born and raised in Fairmont and an alumna of FS, I earned both a master’s degree (1970) and a doctorate (1991) in mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh. Fairmont State mathematics faculty members Dr. James LaRue, William Schneider and James Dunlevy had enormous positive impact on my life mathematically and in general. Since becoming their colleague in 1971, I have tried to uphold the tradition of our program to provide quality training for our students.
What do students like best about your class?:
I always treat them fairly and as adults. I return papers the next class period 99.9 percent of the time. I hope they realize that I have their best interest at heart.
