RETURNING STUDENTS
If you have attended Fairmont State before, with or without a break in attendance, and have not attended any other educational institution, you must:
* not be on academic probation or suspension.
* have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 if you are a junior, senior or above. You must also be maintaining satisfactory academic progress. (Current policies are under revision. Contact a Financial Aid Counselor for specifics.)
* be at least a half time student (six to eight hours). In some instances, a less than half time student may be eligible for a Pell Grant.
* file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
