· Members of the opposite sex are permitted to visit residents' rooms from noon to midnight daily. Overnight visitation privileges will be voted on at the beginning of the fall semester. The Vice President for Student Affairs will make the final decision in regard to the overnight visitation policy. If approved, residents are required to abide by all stipulations that are describes in the Residence Life Handbook.

· The status of your financial aid from Fairmont State has no bearing on your residence life contract. Residents are not released from their housing contracts for inability to pay unless they completely withdrawal from all classes.
· At the conclusion of the fall semester, students who are placed on Academic Probation will lose their financial aid for the spring semester. However, resident students will still be responsible to pay all fees including housing for the spring semester. No release from the housing contract can be attributed to the loss of financial aid.
