Veterinary Technology Program Goals
- Be a vital and contributing member of the veterinary health care team by demonstrating the abilities to be fully capable of perfoming in a wide variety of professional roles within the veterinary medical setting
- Demonstrate competency in the entry-level skills needed to support companion animal medicine, equine and food animal medicine, biomedical research and other veterinary medical disciplines
- Attain and apply the relevent information necessary to pass the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) with 80% accuracy
- Exhibit conduct that reflects practice standards that are professional, ethical, and legal
- Demonstrate professional behavior through attendance, promptness, and the ability to assume appropriate responsibility
