ACT PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENTS FOR INTRODUCTORY SCITECH COURSES

A frequently requested piece of information from students, parents and high school teachers is the ACT score prerequisite requirements for entry into our introductory science and math courses.  If the prerequisite ACT score shown in the table below has not been met, additional college course(s) must be taken to satisfy the prerequisite.

If the ACT Math score is less than 19, the COMPASS test (online, free test administered by Fairmont State) is required to determine what developmental math courses are necessary.
