Food Service Management Program Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Associate of Applied Science in Food Service Management, students will be able to do the following:

  1. Demonstrate a professional work ethic as expected for employment in various aspects of the food service industry; culinary arts, pastry and baking arts, dietary manager, and resort and hotel management.

  2. Apply nutritional standards as expected in food service management fields.

  3. Apply knowledge of basic food principles, including food purchasing, planning, and preparation.

  4. Manage human and physical resources, in ways that comply with food service industry standards.
